Responsible AI for faith-driven work
I help churches, ministries, and faith-driven founders adopt AI without losing the plot — multi-agent systems designed by a builder who ships them, not just talks about them.
Get in touch →Who this is for
Pastors and ministry leaders wondering where AI fits (and where it doesn't). Faith-driven founders building products and unsure how to do it responsibly. Mission-minded teams that want the leverage of AI with the stewardship their work demands.
How I help
AI readiness assessment
A clear-eyed look at where AI can genuinely help your work, what to avoid, and what to do first — with the ethical and privacy questions named up front.
Agent architecture & strategy
Design for real multi-agent systems: how to structure them, where humans stay in the loop, and how to keep them governed and accountable.
Fractional AI advisor
Ongoing guidance as you build — roadmap, build-vs-buy, vendor decisions, and a steady hand in the operating rhythm. Engagements scoped to your needs.
Build & implementation
When you need it built, not just advised: hands-on help shipping the system, drawing on the same stack behind Genesis Labs and Shprd.
How it works
- 01Assess — a readiness call and a short engagement to map the real opportunity.
- 02Roadmap — a sequenced plan with the governance and stewardship questions built in.
- 03Advise or build — ongoing advisory, or hands-on implementation. Your call.
Why me
I build production multi-agent systems end to end — and I'm not tied to a single vendor or tool. That means custom agent harnesses, specially-trained agents, and the engineering disciplines that make them reliable: context engineering, prompt and harness design, guardrails, evals, and human-in-the-loop governance. I work across the full AI stack and understand how the models underneath are actually built — pre-training, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning — so the systems I design hold up in the real world, not just the demo.
And I ship: a real faith-tech product (Shprd) as the founder of Genesis Labs, on top of 21 years leading engineering teams in the U.S. Navy and a decade in Fortune 500 operations. Most faith-AI advisors teach; I build — and I bring an operator's discipline to both.
My posture on AI in ministry: it's a tool for stewardship, not a shortcut around people. Privacy first, humans in the loop, and honest about what it can't do.
