The short version
I'm the founder of Genesis Labs and Shprd, and an AI systems expert who builds multi-agent software with Claude Code. Genesis Labs builds software for pastors, churches, ministries, and the households they serve. Shprd — our flagship — helps church-connected families keep Scripture, schedules, responsibilities, and church life in one weekly rhythm.
It's bootstrapped: built on nights and weekends from a simple conviction that life and faith belong together, and that the tools serving a family's faith deserve the same craft we expect from the software that runs our work.
Before this I spent 21 years in the U.S. Navy as a Machinist's Mate, retiring as a Senior Chief, and a decade in Fortune 500 operations. A ship isn't one system — it's hundreds, interconnected. That systems lens is what I bring to everything I build, and it's why I care less about shipping loud and more about shipping things that hold up.
